Reaching Out Across Durham
Reaching Out Across Durham (ROAD) is an exciting employment programme in County Durham funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund until July 2019. Working alongside programme lead Groundwork NE & Cumbria and 11 voluntary and community sector delivery partners who are specialists in employment, financial and digital inclusion and volunteering, ROAD supports 625 long term unemployed people into or towards employment.
Salary: Circa £21,000 per annum
Hours: Full time 37 hours per week
Location: Stanley and Consett area
As a Navigator you will provide 1:1 support to people who are long term unemployed to help them move towards and access training and employment. By providing intensive support and advice you will help each participant develop a tailored action plan and identify how this can be best met through existing services and/or via ROAD’s health, financial and digital inclusion services.
- Exceptional people and communication skills
- Experience of undertaking caseload management on employability programmes
- A proven track record in delivering targets
