Finchale is delighted to announce that it has once again been awarded a grant from ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
The charity has supported Finchale since 2016 and this year has given a very generous grant of £50,000! This in addition to the funding that it provides for the training and up-skilling of veterans.
The new funding will be used to build our capacity and allow us to employ an additional member of staff, so that we can reach out to even more veterans. Our Case Manager will now work in partnership with a Navigator. Together they will ensure that a high level of support is provided to those who need it most.
Diane Watson, Finchale’s Executive Director said;
“We are extremely grateful to ABF The Soldiers’ Charity for this generous grant and their continued support of our work. For the last four years ABF have been supporting Finchale to make a difference to the lives of Army veterans and their families across the North East.
We pride ourselves on being responsive to the changing needs of the veterans and increasingly we are seeing more complex social and mental health issues. This new funding will enable us to grow our capacity and reach out to even more veterans who need our help. Thanks to the support of ABF The Soldiers Charity, we will be able to continue providing this much needed support.”
