Reaching Out Across Durham (ROAD) is an exciting employment and social inclusion programme in County Durham jointly funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund until December 2021. Working alongside programme lead Groundwork NE & Cumbria and 6 voluntary and community sector delivery partners who are specialists in employment, financial and digital inclusion and volunteering, ROAD supports those aged over 25 and out of work in County Durham to address issues preventing them from entering employment.
We are looking to recruit a Navigator who will provide 1:1 support to people who are long term unemployed to help them move towards and access training and employment. By providing intensive support and advice you will help each participant develop a tailored action plan and identify how this can be best met through existing services and/or via ROAD’s health, financial and digital inclusion services.
